Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Course

What is the RSA Certificate?

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) course will teach you to act responsibly and be aware of your duty of care towards your patrons, coworkers, and the general community when it comes to serving alcohol. You’ll learn how to encourage customers to drink within reasonable limits. This certificate will get you equipped to the best of your ability for the responsibility of alcohol service.

How Long Does My RSA Certificate Last?

The RSA certificate doesn’t expire in the following states:

  • South Australia
  • Queensland
  • Western Australia
  • Tasmania

The RSA certificate requires updating every three years in the following territories:

  • Australian Capital Territory
  • Northern Territory

Course Length

Our RSA and RSG training course is one 6-hour seminar (face-to-face).

Where is My Certificate Valid?

When you receive the Fully Accredited Statement of Attainment for RSA, it will be valid in the following states & territories:

  • South Australia
  • Queensland
  • Western Australia
  • Northern Territory
  • Australian Capital Territory
  • Tasmania

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) number is a mandatory requirement for any student wishing to undertake vocational training. A USI number is unique to you and provided by the government to keep a secure online record of your VET certifications.
