As part of the national registration system, all nurses must acquire career development needs through a learning program.
As at July 2010, nurses must acquire 20 Continuing Professional Development Points (CPD) each year to renew their nursing registration
For Registered and Enrolled Nurses
Provide First Aid will attract a minimum of 7 Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) points and perform CPR, 3 points.
For the experienced nurse
We offer an express Provide First Aid (3 hour) assessment only course. This course is delivered for groups in the workplace only. Workplace enquiry click here

Students
Bachelor and Diploma of Nursing students are required to have a current Provide First Aid certificate, and to update CPR annually, prior to attending clinical placement.

The course ‘Follow safe manual handling practices’ is a course for Health workers to carry out their work in a safe manner within the health care environment. This course can be undertaken RNs, ENs, PCAs and students is a great opportunity for people wanting to upgrade their skills and qualifications.
