Infomation for Tradesperson

TradespersonFirst aid requirements will vary from one workplace to the next, depending on the nature of the work, the type of hazards, the workplace size and location, and the number of people at the workplace. These factors must be taken into account when deciding what first aid arrangements need to be provided.

First Aid Darwin recommends the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course as the minimum first aid certificate in the workplace.

If you have never done first aid training before, the Provide First Aid course is an excellent place to start – giving you the skills and knowledge to step in and assist a sick or injured person until medical professionals arrive.

Are you an electrician and need to do your update on Low Voltage Rescue?

The new requirement for electrical workers to be trained in low voltage rescue and resuscitation came into place on December 1 2013.

This course meets the requirements of the Electrical Safety Act and the Code of Practice: Electrical Work, Section 6-Working Live.
